INDONESIA 'MALABAR' NATURAL
Grown in the fertile volcanic soils of Mount Malabar, West Java, this exceptional Java Preanger coffee carries centuries of heritage. Coffee cultivation on the island began in the early 1700s, when Yemeni seedlings arrived through trade with India. Under the influence of the Dutch East India Company, Java soon became one of the world’s earliest and most celebrated coffee-growing regions outside of Ethiopia and Arabia.
At Kopi Gunung Malabar, this legacy continues. Carefully cultivated at high elevations, the cherries are hand-picked at peak maturity and processed with meticulous attention to preserve the bean’s natural sweetness and delicate aromatics.
Expect a refreshing, juicy cup with notes of grape and tropical fruits.
